Menzie's Penstemon or as the nerds say - Penstemon davidsonii ;) Found these little purple flowers on the way down from Paradise in Mt Rainier National Park and thought they made a nice foreground to the beautiful and still snowcapped peak in the distance. 1. Hi Toby,

I just submitted a photo for “Shadow Play” called “Reflection.” It doesn’t have metadata because it was shot on film and scanned as a jpg file. Shot using a Canon A2E with a Canon 50mm 1.4 using Fuji Velvia 50 (and shot on ISO 50). I don’t recall shutter speed, but aperture is most definitely 1.4.

It’s not my best work, but it’s worth a shot. I also submitted some shots I took recently on my visit to Chicago (with metadata =) ). I hope that it gets chosen for a critique soon!

    • HI Erwin, I see that they came through. I like both of them, not sure the reflection shot has enough “shadow play” but will see if it gets included when we put them all together. Thanks!
