GoPro’s all in one solution, you get an extension (or a selfie stick), grip, and tripod solution in one package.
We’ve all seen lenses for the smartphone market before but now Zeiss has entered the market with a set of high performance iPhone lenses in macro, wide angle, and telephoto.
Nikon drops the hammer with a Go-Pro competitor. A new waterproof/shockproof 4k video action camera with 360 degree video.
While CES is running Sony also came up with a new version of their action cam line. With Nikon taking up all the buzz for this niche Sony’s camera has basically been left in the dark.
Phase One expands its line with a whopper 100mp beast of a camera for $48,990.
Stepping motors for the masses, pricing isn’t available yet but Nikon has announced two 18-55 lenses with quieter stepping motors in line with Canon’s STM technology.
Nikon finally gets on the radio bandwagon for its speedlights and announced a new model with it built in body.
On it’s almost yearly cycle Canon’s announced a new field of super zoom and elph camera’s with a slight notch in specs.
Olympus adds to its impressive tough line with the TG-870 with decent specs and a 300mm they are boasting as the highest resolution ever.
Another footnote for this week, after Nikon’s new products Panasonic has put out two decent superzoom point and shoots and a telephoto for MFT that is the longest focal length yet.
Super 8 is back? Kodak releases a new Super 8 camera with digital features, option to mail in film to scan for video.
Parrot known for its hovering fleet of drones has ditched the quad copter design and went for a airplane configuration in their newest model.
After the earlier gallery by Richard Prince whom was noted for copying Instagram posts and hosting them for sale he is finally being sued by one of the photographers.
For those that like to dabble in shooting Lego minifigures you can join the action!
Sometimes it’s not what we take, it’s what we leave behind, in this case photos of the stars from over 120 years ago.
