I doubt many Amish have seen the movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off but I can't get this quote out of my head "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." On our last day in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania we were treated to a beautiful sunrise, an Amish dairy farm tour, a buggy ride and beautiful blue skies. I had a few Amish buggy photos and wanted to try a panning shot - I talk about how to capture shots like this in my popular Shutter Speed Explained video - Watch at http://photorec.tv/shutterspeed/ * Captured with the #Sony #a7RII and #Canon #70200L at 70mm and 1/30 second
#oink Farm life in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania ...That'll do, pig.
They all had dreams. They all had family. They died for us. Arlington National Cemetery is a heavy place, I can't help but think about all the pain and suffering when presented with row upon row of a headstone representing a fallen soldier and my mind boggles that this still happens today. On this little planet hurtling through an incomprehensible ginormous space - some people think it is ok to kill each other. :( p.s. You should google Cornelius H. Charlton - his story is interesting p.p.s My grandfather is buried in Arlington- my Mom's father was instrumental in designing and implementing early radar systems for the Navy in WW2. Captured with the #Sony #a7RII and #Canon #70200L at 200mm and f/3.2

    :

Being excited to start editing photos I just learned the basics of getting photos into lightroom. This video shows you how to make the most of lightroom’s many more advanced organization organization features. I wish I had seen this before I had thousands of photos in my library.

The amount of value you get for the money paid for these videos is immense – the way the videos are produced, the way information is transmitted to you as a learner, the language used (easy to understand), the examples, the tools provided, etc. The amount of work Toby and Christina put into these videos just translates into outstanding quality. Thank you to both for your professionalism and passion, it really comes through.

PS – This is an opinion based on the first 4 videos (there aren’t more available as of right now).

    :

I have known for a while that I needed to create a base pre-set to use for imports and that I needed to start using keywords to improve my ability find photos post-export. This video was the push that I needed to start doing both things. I can’t emphasize the importance of either one enough. Streamlining the editing process being able to find your photos in a matter of minutes, if not seconds, are so critical for digital photo editing and organization.

As always, Toby and Christina do a fantastic job making all things photography accessible to new and veteran photographers alike. New photographers won’t get overwhelmed with technical jargon while veteran photographers won’t be bored. If you’re brand new to Lightroom, this video series is a great way to learn the basics. If you’re a long time Lightroom user, I guarantee that you’ll still pick up a few new tips and tricks. I will be re-watching all of the videos in the series periodically so that I can get more comfortable with the wealth of information that they provide.

Finally, I echo the previous reviewer’s comments about Toby and Christina’s professionalism and passion. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to the rest of the videos in this series.

I can’t stress the fact enough, this is the best tutorial-series I’ve ever encountered.
They’re so utterly professional the whole time whilst keeping it funny and entertaining but they never slip down to a Fro-level of sillyness.

I loved this episode. I have them all by now and I don’t regret a second of it.
(the money is a non-issue because it’s like…1/4 of a pizza here in Sweden)
