For all Safaris I recommend you have two cameras – buy or rent your second body as backup and or use with a wide angle lens for landscapes and quick switch when the animals pass close.

Sigma 150-600 C – This lens was on my Sony a6300 or A7R II 95% of the time – sharp and worked well on a6300 with MC-11 Adapter

Sony FE 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G OSS – Sharp, fast to focus and travel friendly.  Decent reach on crop sensor for safari and some wildlife but the 150-600 gives you much greater reach for serious wildlife photography

Canon 24-70 f/2.8L II USM lens– For some landscape shots, used via MC-11 Adapter, works well.

Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 – Perfect for selfie vlogging and general use on the GH4 for 4K video.

Panasonic Lumix G Vario 100-300mm F/4.0-5.6 OIS Lens – Affordable serious telephoto 200-600mm (35mm Equivalent) for photos and video on the Micro 4/3 Cameras
