Zion National Park - Narrows Photography Adventure
Join me as I return to Zion National Park - October 2021
Zion NP is gorgeous and wild and unlike any other park. Join me as we get away from the crowds and capture epic SW scenery in beautiful and peaceful locations. Transportation from Las Vegas to Zion NP is included. We will stay just outside the park. Amazing photographic opportunities right outside our door. This trip is designed to minimize drive time and maximize our time capturing amazing photographs in a friendly and supportive environment.
Rough Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Las Vegas - sunset & astrophotography outside Las Vegas
Day 2: Departure for Zion NP – Afternoon hiking with sunset photography
Day 3: Hike The Narrows pre-dawn start. Sunset & astrophotography options
Day 4: Sunrise Hike pre-dawn start before departure for Las Vegas (fly home possible after 6 pm)
ACTIVITY LEVEL There will be hiking each day. You should be comfortable walking several miles on uneven terrain and uphill. Some of the trails in Zion NP require wading and scrambling. A certain level of fitness is required. That said - this will not be grueling, photography is our goal but some locations are not easy to access. If any location is out of your comfort zone, you’re more than welcome to stop and shoot where you are, stay at the hotel and rest, or wait in the van until we get to another more comfortable location for you.
