Lightroom Classic Import Best Practices

Backblaze Online Backup

Backblaze is my pick for online backup. It runs quietly in the background and backs up your computer and attached external drives to the cloud. Heads up: your first backup can take a long time, sometimes days or even weeks, depending on how much you’ve got and your upload speed. Just let it run. Once it’s caught up, it works really well.

One catch with external drives: Backblaze needs to see each external drive at least once every 30 days. If a drive stays unplugged longer than that, Backblaze assumes it’s gone and starts removing those files from your backup. So if your photo archive lives on a drive in a drawer, plug it in once a month and let it sync.
