Shooting Fall Foilage- tips and tricks
Shooting fall color:
Shoot at golden hour. That will make the colors in the leaves appear warmer and more intense.
Rainy days are also great for photographing foliage: Rain saturates colors.
Don’t just shoot the foliage itself. Observe how it interacts with its environment. Be it by framing a house or fallen leaves covering a road, moving in the wind. Focusing on how the day feels and trying to capture that helps to convey a story.
Focus on small details. Like the contrast of a Fall leaf on green grass or in a stream.
