Love the light, the sharp focus on the eye and those bokeh xmas lights.

First time I've ever entered any sort of photo challenge, YouTuber and photographer @photorectoby is running a portrait challenge and I couldn't resist. As it's near Christmas I thought I'd submit this one taken on my old 700d with the cheapo 50mm 1.8 last year. My niece was watching a Christmas film at the time with her teddy and I couldn't resist with the bokeh from the tree lights in the background. This is a great portrait but I love the prop! Giving your subject something to interact with in a photo gives your eyes something to track and makes for a interesting subject.
